Trump’s Conservative Warrior Women Are Not to be Trifled With

A Profile in Courage: Dana Loesch

The fiercest Trump warriors are Republican women, with 93 percent supporting him over Republican men. Wall Street Journal editorial writer Daniel Henninger calls this distinct and dedicated population of women “America’s most determined political outliers.”

would consider Dana Loesch one of conservatives most fiercest warrior princesses and outright gift to the base. As a female heterosexual Trump supporter, I can’t help but admire bad-ass conservative women who stand up for their principles. I had girl crushes on Linda Hamilton in the “Terminator” movies and, until she opened her mouth, left-wing Jennifer Lawrence for her role in “The Hunger Games” series. Whether it’s fictional characters, or real life warriors like Loesch, the singular characteristic that unites these women are their willingness to fight the daunting powers of the state, media and culture—and win. It stirs up that dormant ember burning in the breasts of conservative women who long to see justice delivered and evil disposed of its power. And we’ve been waiting a long, long time.

There is no doubt that WSJ’s Henninger is right that conservative women are “the most determined political outliers.” Conservative women have been marginalized and made sport of by the progressive left for decades. And as the old adage goes, “What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.” And we’ve had a few decades to sharpen our weapons and hone our skills. Trump’s warrior women make up what is his most ardent and active base, all of which runs contrary to the view that militant feminists hold, or promote, of Christian conservative women. That is, that they are subjugated to a powerful and malignant male patriarchy, something they loathe. Progressive feminists believe that if a woman holds traditional values, such as a belief in strong family ties, the First and Second Amendments, self-sufficiency and God, they are weak and backwards. But they are so wrong they are not even in the same game conservative women are playing.

Anne Sorock, a pollster and president of The Frontier Lab, which uses behavioral science to explore the cultural and political landscape, said in a Washington Examiner article, “One of the great untold stories for Trump is how he is connecting with women.” What Sorock doesn’t say and what feminists who believe conservative women are oppressed won’t admit, is that this group is are far from weak. It takes a thick skin to be a conservative woman today and stand up to the doxing, trolls and even physical violence of the progressive left.

What the left fails to get time and time again about women who support Trump, and Loesh does not by the way, is that his bravery to stand up to the left is the secret sauce to his popularity with women. Women have always been attracted to strong, powerful alpha men who know how to get things done. Sorock, who has been studying the president’s female supporters, said that, “many went out on a limb for Trump, viewing him as strong, confident, and anti-swamp. And when he beat Clinton, it was a confirmation that they were right, giving them a feeling of empowerment.” It’s the same reason alpha males are often the ones who win the admiration of the most beautiful, principled and smart women. It’s not Trump’s money Republican women admire—that would be black rappers who now disavow him—it’s the unflappable, unwavering, take-no-prisoners, bravery he exhibits in speaking truth to power—again and again.

Character and warrior Lagatha in the History Channel’s “Vikings” series is the picture of devotion women hold to men in power who share their same ideals. Lagatha’s devotion to Ragnor Lothbrok never waivers throughout the series. And it isn’t because she is attracted to an authoritarian, as Psychology Today would have you believe. It’s because women unconsciously seek the most most powerful male they believe will keep them safe. In a world of terrorism and the breakdown of the family, this is a high stakes game for women. And did I mention I have a girl crush on Lagatha as well?

Which brings me back to Dana Loesch, who also possesses these same steely strong qualities as Trump, although she is not a Trump supporter. She is without a doubt a take-no-prisoners, no bullshit, brave women who doesn’t run from a fight or seek to win a popularity contest with Trump supporters. And she’s been in some pretty bloody brawls with pundits and power. Not only do conservative women love her, conservative men can’t get enough of her. They, too, are bone weary and frustrated at being scolded and shamed by third wave feminists who think all male children should either be killed in the womb or sometime thereafter by being placed on Adderall and soy milk throughout their childhood. Having a penis, really seems to scare feminists, so of course, they can’t comprehend Loesch’s popularity. In Loesch, however, both men and women see a beautiful young woman and mother who appreciates what males bring to our society and isn’t afraid to defend them.

And while straight males have been silenced in the media and cultural wars, strong, articulate conservative women have been keeping the home embers warm hoping, but not waiting, for our men to find their voice and start fighting back against the tyranny and weaponization of political correctness and the pseudo-science of male and female gender-bending biology pushed by the left. And in their defense, men don’t want to actually fight women. It’s one of the qualities they possess that make me love them so much. They have deferred out of helplessness to the shrieking left, not lack of care. It’s hard to find a way to fight a woman without appearing like a bully, and it is not the sort of behavior a principled alpha man wants to engage in.

Powerhouses like Malkin, Coulter, Atkins and countless others filled the earlier void of heterosexual males unable or unwilling to speak out against the tyrannical left. Coulter, in particular, has been absolutely unaffected and tone deaf to the insults on the left and the right. She hasn’t drunk Trump’s Kool-Aid, and routinely calls him out over inconsistencies in his policies and for not fighting hard enough. No matter what you may think of Coulter, she is a force to be reckoned with. Many men, whether it was in order to protect their careers or who for reasons of their own could not survive the doxing of the left, were left impotent and rendered silent to what was happening in politics, education and culture. And it really is a good thing for them they had Ann. She was a lone princess warrior speaking truth to power long before it became popular. And let’s be honest here, there is no more hateful a person for a heterosexual male than a woman scorned, and the progressive left is filled to overflowing with lonely and bitter feminists.

The silent males on the right, however, found their voice in candidate and then President Trump. And conservative women? They are battle ready warriors ready to turn those smoldering, smoking embers into a bonfire! While the sleepy, well-fed, and unprincipled neo-Republican males who dominated the political culture gave their power over to the left, outspoken young female activists and journalists like Loesch have emerged at the forefront of the political movement that is calling for a complete political turnover of power from the left. They’ve had enough of the progressive left and weak men.

Loesch has her own original brand of young, punk-rock, conservative irreverence that has found a fast-growing audience on multiple mediums. And she is not to be trifled with. She takes a lot of incoming flak from the left but also from herd-mentality Trump supporters who refuse to speak out on things Trump does that, frankly, pisses off and baffles his conservative base. But who needs a superheroine who waivers? I’ll take a Loesch any day, who is listed in the top 25 of Talkers Magazine‘s top 100 “heavy hitters” and was named Missouri’s #1 Radio Personality in 2014. A frequent guest on Fox News and a former award-winning newspaper columnist (and notable blogger since 2001), Loesch was ranked as one of the top 16 most powerful mothers online by Neilsen and one of the top 30 Under 30 according to the St. Louis Business Journal. Loesch was also the 2012 winner of Accuracy In Media’s Grassroots Journalism award as well as the inaugural Breitbart Spirit Award.

Loesch doesn’t pander to the Trump base, who are disappointed in her for not supporting him. I don’t see it as an issue. In my book, she is the princess warrior for conservative values and she is a fighter! This is one baby who I will not be throwing out with the bath water. We need more conservatives like Loesch who are unafraid to stand up for what they believe in.

And if that wasn’t enough, Loesch was one of the original Breitbart editors selected by her late friend and mentor, Andrew Breitbart, to head what was then BigJournalism.com. She also helped break the Anthony Weiner scandal before her departure in 2012. Perhaps Loesch’s most controversial work and also what propels her into the dangerous world of public speaking for conservatives is her fierce stance on the Second Amendment and her work with the NRA. Her best selling book on gun control, Hands Off My Gun: Defeating the Plot to Disarm America, is meant to educate and equip others on the right with gun facts and the true agenda of the anti-gun left.

Mark Levin wrote of her book that it,“Obliterates every baseless argument made against the Second Amendment.” Sean Hannity quipped, “Buy this book before someone tries to ban it.” Michelle Malkin states,“WARNING: This book is explosive! Mother, wife, New Media warrior and political sharpshooter Dana Loesch confronts the ultimate war on women: gun control.”

In 2017, NRATV launched the“DL,” a new series that tells the true story of the Second Amendment the mainstream media doesn’t want America to hear. Loesch hosts the show and appears with other NRATV personalities Cam Edwards, Dom Raso and Colion Noir, as well as leading gun-rights advocates including Sheriff David Clarke, Nikki Goeser, Antonia Okafor, Stacy Washington, Col. Kurt Schlichter, Laura Carno and many more to examine the enduring and fundamental meaning of the Second Amendment.

Loesch speaks regularly on the subject of new media, gun control, anti-feminism and grassroots activism. A powerhouse herself, the number one thing I admire most about her is her courage. If you have ever watched her eating alive a progressive media pundit or turning into a fiery “preacher” at CPAC, you can quickly understand their terror of her. She makes me so proud. It’s also the number one reason that she and her family are often the recipients of death threats and doxing. And let’s face it, it also takes courage to be a conservative today who doesn’t support Trump. But I highly respect Loesch for her views. She is a purist through and through. On a post to her website, Loesch writes, “I receive this question almost more than any other: Why don’t you support Donald Trump? I’ve met the man, his camp asked me to introduce him at CPAC in 2015, he was perfectly amiable. He’s been on my radio and TV programs more than any other primary candidate. I just can’t get on board with his lack of consistency or his policies.”

But conservative women who thumb their noses at Loesch are making a huge mistake. Although I don’t agree with her stance on Trump and I believe purists, like Rand Paul, sometimes cut their noses off to spite themselves, I believe in the body of her work. And I absolutely understand her distaste at some of the flip-flopping Trump has exhibited on policies. Yet, I understand he was always a populist president, not a conservative one, the same way I would repeat my belief that Loesch is still a big, beautiful gift to the conservative base. It is evident to me in the left’s hysterical distaste for President Trump, that as much as I would have liked a conservative president, it isn’t likely to happen in today’s political climate. The propaganda of the educational and entertainment industries have poisoned too many minds, and we must admit we have completely lost a generation.

In her earlier book, Flyover Nation, Loesch shines the light of truth on everything from feminism to gun violence to abortion—and we need this. The battleground is in preserving the Republic against the unrelenting attacks of the progressive left. Loesch is a key player in this because she reveals the damage done by elitists who flat-out don’t get the lives and values of people in the heart of the country. And she asks common sense questions such as: How can you be angry at Walmart if you’ve never shopped in one? How can you hate the police if you’ve never needed help from a cop? How can you attack Christians if you don’t have a single friend who goes to church? In other words, how can you run a country you’ve never been to? And how much could our politics improve if coastals would actually listen to their fellow Americans?

If you are not already following Loesch, you can listen to her on Dana Loesch Radio. I dare all of the young conservative women out there who are sick of the left steam rolling over their beliefs and silencing their voices to show the progressive feminists on the left that, like Dana, we have come to kick a little ass and take some names. We have a nation to save and we are not to be trifled with. #Reignwell
